What they wanted

Worms: Open Warfare 2 sees the worms moving their fight online as they battle it out in six different worlds. We were asked to build a site that would support the game and maintain the excitement throughout the gradual releases of each world that appears within the game.

Fresh thinking

The idea was to develop a site that made the most out of the cheeky humour and lighthearted feel that this classic game is known for. As a result, animation is a main feature giving the site a real sense of fun while also showing the theme of each of the worlds. The background image scrolls left and right allowing the user to investigate and get deeply involved in the worm´s world.

The site is highly interactive with the ability to download movies, wallpapers and screenshots. This combined with the constant updates ensures that gamers return time and time again.

What happened?

The site has been a huge success so far, but with three out of the six worlds still to be released, watch this space!
